<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the best places to find affordable tents is at Target. Target sells camping tents that are usually one of three brands: Coleman, Kelty and Embark, although you can find more brands online. Depending on your location the selections will be different but here are some of the tents you can expect to find. All of these tents are 3 season tents and shouldn’t be used in winter conditions but they should serve you and your family well in milder weather in the Summer or other seasons.</p>
<h3><strong>Coleman Tents At Target</strong></h3>
<p>The <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-instant-tent/">Coleman Instant Tent</a> is one of the quickest tents to set up and usually takes a couple of minutes to set up so you can get back to enjoying anything but setting up the tent. The instant tent comes in lots of different sizes but Target usually has the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/five-6-man-tent-options/">6 man tent</a> and the 8 man tent in stores. These are great family tents and offer a lot of room.<br />
They also have the <em>Coleman Hampton</em> 9 man tent for those looking for a spacious family tent. These tents will cost anywhere between $100 and $140.<br />
If you don’t want to try a cabin tent you might want to consider the <em>Coleman Ara</em>. It is a 6 man dome tent that is under $100. It comes with a rain fly and it is pretty easy to set up with a color coded tent pole system.<br />
If you want a smaller tent they also have a couple of models of the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-sundome-2-man-tent/">Coleman Sundome</a> to choose from like the 2 man tent, which remains one of their most popular models. It is inexpensive and just under $50.<br />
Target has a couple of Tents by Embark. This week’s main <strong>advertised deal</strong> is the <em>Embark 9 Person Cabin tent</em> with a screened porch and it is at a great price, $114.95. It usually takes about 20 minutes to set up. Although it comes with a rainfly it doesn’t offer your tent full protection as it does not go down all the sides. You probably should test it out at home with the sprinklers or hose and see if the rainfly will keep the water out. If not, just find a cheap tarp to put over it for a little more protection.<br />
Many of these are similar to <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/camping-tents-cheap-at-walmart/">tents at Walmart</a> and you can also purchase many of them at Amazon with free shipping and no sales tax if you don’t need it as quickly. </p>

One of the most frustrating things when you get to a campsite is setting up your tent, especially large ones.   Coleman tents have made this much easier though with their <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QUT9OE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=tentssite-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=217145&#038;creative=399349&#038;creativeASIN=B003QUT9OE" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QUT9OE/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8_038_tag=tentssite-20_038_linkCode=as2_038_camp=217145_038_creative=399349_038_creativeASIN=B003QUT9OE&amp;referer=');">Instant Tent</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B003QUT9OE&#038;camp=217145&#038;creative=399349" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> line which they hope are the easiest and quickest tents to set up.  These tents take only about 1 minute to setup or take down which means no more worrying about complicated setups with elaborate tent poles. (It may take you as long as five minutes).  How can a large camping tent be set up so quickly?  They pre-attach the tent poles so that you do not have to put them through the loops yourself.   You can simply get to your site and set your camping tent up quickly.  The ease and quickness of the process can be a huge asset if you get to the campground a little later than you planned, stormy skies are already headed your direction or you just want to start enjoying the great outdoors.<br />
The Coleman Instant Tent comes in 2 sizes, a 6 man tent or an 8 man tent so it is the perfect size tent for family camping.  The 6 man Instant tent has a center height of 71” and can fit 2 queen air mattresses.  The Instant Tent 8 is a little taller with a center height of 76” and can also fit 2 queen <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-quickbed-air-mattresses/" target="_self">air mattresses</a>.</p>
<p>The Instant Tents also come equipped with the Coleman WeatherTec system which they guarantee will keep you dry.  Many users have camped in storms in these tents and have confirmed that it has kept them dry.  Another thing that makes this tent unique is that it comes with the tent fully taped, which means there is no need for a rainfly.  Just to be safe you might want to bring a tarp with you and do a pretest at home.  Just set the tent up at home before you hit the campground, let the sprinklers hit it or even a hose and see if there are in tiny holes that need to be double sealed.  This can save you from a big headache when you get to your campground.<br />
These are fairly <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/" target="_self">cheap tents</a> and can be found pretty easily.  I’ve seen them at the big warehouse stores like Sam’s Club.  You can also find a 2 room 10 man version of the Instant tent at Bass Pro Shops. You can also find them at Amazon following this <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&#038;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref_%3Dnb_sb_noss%26field-keywords%3Dcoleman%2520instant%2520tent%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps%23&#038;tag=tentssite-20&#038;linkCode=ur2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8_038_location=http_3A_2F_2Fwww.amazon.com_2Fs_3Fie_3DUTF8_26ref_3Dnb_sb_noss_26field-keywords_3Dcoleman_2520instant_2520tent_26url_3Dsearch-alias_253Daps_23_038_tag=tentssite-20_038_linkCode=ur2_038_camp=1789_038_creative=390957&amp;referer=');">link</a><img src="https://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=tentssite-20&#038;l=ur2&#038;o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />. Enough cannot be said about <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-tents/" target="_self">Coleman Tents</a>.  They have become an authority in camping tents and a brand your family can trust.</p>
<p>Other tents you might be interested in are the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-vacationer-tent-a-bass-pro-exclusive/" target="_self">Coleman Vacationer Tent</a> and the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-weathermaster-tents/" target="_self">Coleman Weathermaster</a>.  They do not set up as quickly as this model but they are both big and the Vacationer comes with their new lighting system which features a light switch in your tent.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Coleman Vacationer is a cabin tent that is an exclusive of Bass Pro Shops. It is a large 10 man tent that encompasses two different rooms or living areas. The best part about this tent is its use of new technology. It comes equipped with Coleman’s CPX Flexible Power System. What does this mean for you?<br />
It means that you can walk into your tent, flick a switch and turn on the light just like you would at home or anywhere else. No worrying about a camping lantern or flashlight just turn on the switch and your tent will be just like home. This built in tent light system also has various settings of high and low and another nighttime setting that has a slightly dimmer light. You do need to have 4D batteries or the rechargeable power cartridge that goes with it but you will have to buy those separately.<br />
<a href="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-4459861-10419257?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.basspro.com%2Fwebapp%2Fwcs%2Fstores%2Fservlet%2FProduct_10151_-1_10001_10210452_325001002_325000000_325001000&#038;cjsku=10210452-1765729" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.basspro.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.anrdoezrs.net/click-4459861-10419257?url=http_3A_2F_2Fwww.basspro.com_2Fwebapp_2Fwcs_2Fstores_2Fservlet_2FProduct_10151_-1_10001_10210452_325001002_325000000_325001000_038_cjsku=10210452-1765729&amp;referer=');"><img src="http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/BassPro/10210452_is" border="0" alt="Coleman Vacationer 2-Room 10-Person 15' x 10' Cabin Tent"/></a><img src="http://www.ftjcfx.com/image-4459861-10419257" width="1" height="1" border="0"/></p>
<p>The power system is not the only thing that will make you feel at home in this tent. This tent comes with lots of windows, eight of them in fact, and three of them inside the main cabin area are self rolling. This will help increase air flow inside of the tent and help your tent stay cool on hot summer nights. It also comes with two hinged doors, yep- hinged doors. This will make you feel even more at home and you will deal less with the annoying zipper doors that are often on tents.<br />
The Coleman Vacationer also comes equipped with Coleman’s patented Weathertec system which guarantees you will stay dry in your tent. It also comes with a rainfly, you do not want to camp without one of these.<br />
Overall, this Coleman 10 man tent is a great option for families. The <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/why-cabin-tents-make-great-family-tents/" target="_self">cabin tent</a> style offers lots of living space and allows you the option of more places to sleep or more places to spread out in. <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/why-large-camping-tents-and-cabin-tents-are-the-perfect-way-to-ride-out-a-storm/" target="_self">Large camping tents</a> are a must have if you get stuck camping in bad weather. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Eureka is one of the leaders is tents.  Not only do they make some very durable camping tents they also make military tents and party tents so it’s safe to say they have established a quality product.  We&#8217;ve already talked about the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/the-eureka-apex-2xt-2-man-tent/" target="_self">Eureka Apex 2 Man tent</a> but  here are some of their current series of tents in the Eureka tent line.</p>

The timberline has two particular models the timberline outfitter which offers a 2 man tent, 4 man tent and a 6 man tent or the Timberline SQ which has a 2 man and a 4 man tent available. <br />
Both models are A Frame tents and very lightweight making them an ideal tent for backpacking.  They come with a rain fly that covers the entire body and allows windows to be kept it partially open even when it is raining which helps enable good ventilation and keeps it from getting to stuffy.</p>
<p>You can buy the Timberline Series at Big Bass Outfitters by clicking on the picture<a href="http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-4459861-10419257?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.basspro.com%2Fwebapp%2Fwcs%2Fstores%2Fservlet%2FProduct_10151_-1_10001_23512_325001001_325000000_325001000&amp;cjsku=23512-272074" target="_top" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.tkqlhce.com/click-4459861-10419257?url=http_3A_2F_2Fwww.basspro.com_2Fwebapp_2Fwcs_2Fstores_2Fservlet_2FProduct_10151_-1_10001_23512_325001001_325000000_325001000_amp_cjsku=23512-272074&amp;referer=');"><img src="http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/BassPro/23512_is" border="0" alt="Eureka!® Timberline® Original A-Frame Tent - 2 Man" /></a><img src="http://www.lduhtrp.net/image-4459861-10419257" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /></p>

With the regular Eureka Grand Manan tents you can sleep anywhere between 3-5 campers depending on whether you get the Grand Manan 7 or the Grand Manan 9 models.   These are small sleek tents that are designed to maximize the amount of headroom and the amount of room in the overall tent so that you can bring an air bed or air mattress with you.  They also feature lots of ventilation and 8 different pockets where you can store your stuff.<br />
The Eureka Grand Manan Tour tent takes it up one more level.  It is a <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/five-6-man-tent-options/" target="_self">6 man tent</a> that is designed to be bug free and for all weather.    It also allows you to set up the E! power system from Eureka which allows you to add power to your tent!  This is a very nice feature to have.</p>
<p><strong>N!ergy Series</strong>-<br />
The N!ergy tent was designed to bring power to the camper so you can use things like lights and <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/cabin-tents-air-mattresses-tent-fans-how-to-feel-more-at-home-in-your-family-camping-tent/" target="_self">tent fans</a> while being inside your tent.  The N!ergy 1210 and 1310 are <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/why-cabin-tents-make-great-family-tents/" target="_self">cabin tents</a> that allow you to have 2 separate rooms.  The N!ergy 1310 is Eureka’s largest powered tent and can sleep up to 10 people.  The N!ergy 9 is not a cabin tent but still sleeps up to 5 people. <p><strong>Suite V Series</strong>- <br />
Looking for a tent for tall people?  The Eureka Suite V series is made just for tall people and is ideal for people over 6 ft tall.  It is made so that the front entrance to the tent is taller so that you don’t need to duck when entering.  They offer both a 4 man tent and a 6 man tent and they are both dome tents.</p>
<p><strong>Sunrise Series</strong>-<br />
The Eureka Sunrise Tent is built for between 4-6 campers and they try to maximize the amount of ventilation in the tent which means there are lots of different windows and areas of the tent that allow the breeze to get in.  This is great if you are camping somewhere that is very hot and you know you don’t need to worry to much about rain.  Some special features of these tents include built in water bottle holders, a corner floor organizer and a wall organizer that comes equipped with a mirror!</p>
<p><strong>Tetragon Series</strong>-<br />
There are 6 different tents in the Eureka Tetragon series and you can get sizes from a 2 man tent to a 9 man tent.  The cabin tents feature their own entrances to the different wings of the tent so they are perfect family tents.  The larger tents also are less than 20 pounds so they are a more lightweight option if you need to take it with you.</p>
<p>You can also read about the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/the-eureka-solitaire-bivy-tent/">Eureka Solo Solitaire Bivy Tent</a> which is a cheap option for backpackers.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Eureka Solo Solitaire Bivy is a lightweight (2 lbs 15 oz packed) 1 man tent (which feels a little more like a bivy sack than a tent) that is just the right fit to take with you on the trail. Not only is it lightweight but it is the lightest of the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/eureka-tent-line/">Eureka Tents</a> you will find. The tent is made of Nylon and is a hoop style tent and also comes with a full rain fly to keep you dry during any storms you might encounter. Since the rain fly comes attached there is no need to worry about finding it to put on or off, so if conditions are dry and you want to increase air flow in your tent you can simply roll the fly back so that you can enjoy the stars through the mesh top.<br />
While this tent isn’t the most spacious tent, most <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/bivy-tents-and-bivy-sacks-for-the-solo-camper/">bivy tents</a> aren’t. It does come with a flashlight loop and a couple of storage pockets to stash your gear, or at least some smaller items. Despite the fact that it does have a couple of places to stash some gear it is very likely your pack and your hiking boots are going to need to be outside, it’s all going to depend on your size and the size of your pack as many people have had mixed reviews on whether they could fit their stuff inside.<br />
Since this isn’t a freestanding tent be prepared to stake it. You may even want to get some sturdier stakes if you are going to be camping somewhere that’s rocky or where the ground is hard.<br />
One complaint some have with the Eureka Solitaire are the poles. Many have had issues with them not fitting correctly or the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/tent-poles-the-frame-of-the-tent/">fiberglass tent poles</a> being pretty flimsy. The best thing to make sure this isn’t a problem if you purchase the tent is to set it up at home before you get out to where you are camping and leave yourself enough time in case you want to return it and try something else. If you are patient enough you can also contact Eureka and try to see if they will fix the problem. Also, make sure you bring some tape with you in case the poles are flimsier than they seemed when you practiced setting it up. It’s always helpful to bring some with you regardless of your tent because you never know when something will go wrong, and you might find a good use for it somewhere else in camp too.<br />
Overall, the Eureka Solitaire Bivy tent is a fairly <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/">cheap tent</a> that will keep you dry in moderate conditions and will be a good option if you are looking for a compact, lightweight bivy tent for a backpacking trip. </p>
<p>You can purchase the Eureka Solitaire Bivy Tent at Amazon.com by <a href="<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EQCVNY?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=tentssite-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B000EQCVNY" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EQCVNY?ie=UTF8_038_tag=tentssite-20_038_linkCode=as2_038_camp=1789_038_creative=390957_038_creativeASIN=B000EQCVNY&amp;referer=');">clicking here</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=tentssite-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B000EQCVNY" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In today’s world it seems that “minimalizing” is what we should all be doing and in many cases this is probably true. With <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/" target="_self">camping tents</a> and backpackers this might be true; you don’t want to hike up a mountain with a 70lb cabin tent on your back!  However, a lot of campers just enjoy car camping. They can drive up to their campsite, pull out all of their gear without having to hike very far to their site. So the question is, are smaller or larger camping tents better when you don’t have to carry your tent very far?<br />
My answer is that a larger tent, especially something like a cabin tent with multiple rooms like the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-vacationer-tent-a-bass-pro-exclusive/">Coleman Vacationer</a>, can have a lot more benefits than the obvious benefits. We talked about <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/why-cabin-tents-make-great-family-tents/" target="_self">why cabin tents make great family tents</a>, but this article is why <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/5-inexpensive-family-cabin-tents/" target="_self">cabin tents</a> or other large camping tents make a great tent when the weather is rough outside – Of course, this is assuming you get a tent equipped to handle the weather.</p>
<h3><span style="text-decoration: underline;">First things first, what makes a tent properly equipped to handle the weather?<br />
</span></h3>
<p>1. It has a proper rain fly. This is a rain fly that covers the entire top part of the tent, as well, as its sides. There is no point in having it cover the top of the tent if the wind is blowing the rain sideways because the rain can get in through the sides.<br />
2. Make sure you have a good footprint. Many tents come with one or at least have one made specifically for certain models if you pay a little bit more for it. However, you can also use a groundtarp. But you want to make sure you don’t let it hang all the way around the outside of the tent. Instead make sure it is barely smaller than the floor of your tent.<br />
3. Sealed Seams- This is often done by the manufacturers but you can buy some cheap and easily coat it a second time.</p>
<p>Alright, enough with the short review… cabin tents are multi-room tents that are great for a lot of reasons, but they are also great to ride out a storm in. Let’s use an example here.</p>
<p>Example # 1: You have a camping group of 4 so you buy a <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/4-man-tent-sierra-designs-lightning-xt/" target="_self">4 man tent</a> thinking that it is the most logical tent size for your group. When you get to your campsite you realize there is hardly enough room for all 4 of you and your gear is barely fitting inside the tent. Then, out of nowhere, a storm rolls in. You are left to ride it out in your tent or just pack it up and go home. You are determined to have a great trip so you stick it out, but you are all piled into the 4 man tent like a can of sardines. The tent isn’t even tall enough to stand up in and making yourself comfortable is next to impossible.</p>
<p>Example # 2: Even though you only have a group of 4 you decide to bring a cabin tent or a really big tent like the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/swiss-gear-montreaux-10-person-tent/" target="_self">Swiss Gear Montreaux 10 Person Tent</a>. You thought it would be great to have space for all of your gear and bring some <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/7-things-to-consider-when-getting-an-air-mattress-for-camping/" target="_self">air mattresses</a> and what not. This particular tent has 3 rooms because you thought you might want to spread out a little more. So when the storm clouds roll in, they don’t seem nearly as dreadful as in the first example. Your tent becomes a small little home. You have room to stand up in, move around in it, eat, and play games or whatever else you can do to pass the time. With a larger tent you can now still enjoy your camping trip and bonding time while you wait for the storm to roll through.</p>
<p>Which example would you like to be in the 1st or the 2nd? When it comes to braving the weather, a larger tent might have more of an advantage simply because you won’t go absolutely stir crazy – at least not as stir crazy as you would in that smaller tent! You are still confined to a small space but you are going to be a lot more comfortable in it. It is inevitable that we aren’t always going to go camping where the weather is always perfect – especially if you go in the mountains in the fall or spring, and knowing the weather conditions should be part of your preparation when you go camping. You have to know how you are going to handle it if the weather turns sour and if you are going to be up to riding a storm out. Let me leave you with this question to think about before your next camping trip: What <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/finding-cheap-tents-by-size/" target="_self">size tent</a> would you need to be comfortable if you were forced to be in it for a couple of days, a large camping tent or a small camping tent?<br />
You also might want to check out our list of <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/the-most-popular-camping-tents-camping-beds-and-tent-accessories/">most popular camping tents</a> that we compiled. It is a great starting point to see what choices others are relying on. Most of these tents are large tents or cabing tents.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/category/tents-by-size/2-man-tents-tents-by-size/" target="_self">2 man tent</a> was picked as one of the 2010 Gear of The Year by Backpacker Magazine. (They also have the UL1 Model if you are looking for a <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/finding-a-1-man-tent/" target="_self">1 man tent</a>). While it is made to sleep 2 people this tent weighs around two pounds making it an ideal backpacking tent that you will hardly notice while hiking along trails. In order to keep the weight down, Big Agnes chose to use as many ultra light products as they could by using lightweight <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/tent-poles-the-frame-of-the-tent/" target="_self">tent poles</a>, flooring, and a rain fly and yet, they made it very durable at the same time. </p>
<div style="float: center;"> </div>
<p><script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.kqzyfj.com/placeholder-5113350?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.moosejaw.com%2Fmoosejaw%2Fshop%2Fproduct_Big-Agnes-Fly-Creek-UL---1-Person-Tent_10085539____&#038;imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fs7ondemand1.scene7.com%2Fis%2Fimage%2FMoosejawMB%2F10085539x1044943_zm_product.jpg&#038;target=_top&#038;mouseover=Y"></script><br />
Another feature that they used to help keep the weight down was to design it with 3 sides instead of 4 so that it could eliminate more of the weight that added poles and material would bring to the tent.<br />
The outside of the tent is made of both nylon rip stop and polyester mesh to help improve the overall ventilation of the tent and to keep you cool and comfortable on those hot summer nights. This 2 man tent already comes with its seams double sealed to help you keep the water out.<br />
According to backpacker magazine most of the reviewers found this tent to be an adequate size for two campers allowing them room to sit up and even play some games when you are in the tent for the night. While you aren’t going to have enough room to stand up, it is only 38 inches high, this is definitely a lot roomier than some of the other ultralight tent options you have out there. The floor area is 28 square feet and the vestibule area is 7 square feet.</p>
<p>One other great feature that this tent has is a reflective guyline and tent corners so that you can see it better at night. Anyone who has tripped over the guylines in the middle of the night can understand what a valuable feature this can be. This door has only 1 entryway but most campers won’t have much of an issue with it.<br />
Big Agnes also has a tent footprint designed specifically for the <a href="<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CLNT8E?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=tentssite-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B003CLNT8E" rel"no follow" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CLNT8E?ie=UTF8_038_tag=tentssite-20_038_linkCode=as2_038_camp=1789_038_creative=9325_038_creativeASIN=B003CLNT8E&amp;referer=');">Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 2 Tent &#8211; 2010</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=tentssite-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B003CLNT8E" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> unfortunately, you need to buy this separately but it is well worth the investment. While the tent is made with top notch materials you definitely don’t want to go without a footprint since camping outdoors proves just how unpredictable mother nature is and it will help keep water from building up from underneath the tent.<br />
Both Big Agnes and Backpacker Magazine are both leaders in the industry and aren’t going to lead you astray. The Fly Creek 2 man tent isn’t the cheapest tent but you can trust that it was made to do, which is to be a lightweight tent that sleeps 2 people and keeps both the elements and the bugs out.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This lightweight (approximately 6 lbs) tent is a perfect <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-sundome-2-man-tent/" target="_self">2 man tent</a> for anyone looking for a small light tent to take with them camping.  While most <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/category/tents-by-size/2-man-tents-tents-by-size/" target="_self">2 man tents</a> seem to provide space for about 1 person only, this tent has quite a few happy campers who agree that this tent actually can sleep 2 people!  The actual space is about 36 and a half square feet with vestibules on each side of the tent so you have lots of space to stick any camping gear.<br />
The tent comes with 2 shockcorded <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/tent-poles-the-frame-of-the-tent/" target="_self">tent poles</a>, has a bathtub style floor and lots of other features that make it stand out amongst other 3 season tents and <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com" target="_self">cheap tents</a>.</p>
<p>When you are out camping in a tent the weather can affect your experience in a lot of ways and like the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-weathermaster-tents/" target="_self">coleman weathermaster</a> this one has quite a few features to keep you dry, out of the wind and provides lots of ventilation so the tent isn’t completely muggy all night.  So lets talk about these features real quick.  First, the bathtub floors keeps a lot of the water from getting inside, but remember a tent footprint will help it from seeping up through the bottom of the floor.  Next it comes with a polyester double-coated rainfly to protect the top of the tent and to stop the rain water from getting in.  This tent is made for maximum air circulation and it does that by having one of the walls made out of mesh, so you can enjoy a nice cool, or warm night and catch any breezes that might come in.  This is great and you  might not need to bring that tent fan along with you, although I always recommend one for summer camping.  Also, it allows you to take in the view of the sky that the city lights so often block.  The other walls are then made with weatherproof polyester material.  It also has a factory durable water repellant applied to the outer walls of the tent.  Of course, always be careful with what manufacturers offer with their tents.  One way to protect yourself is to get some seam sealer and just add some extra protection, although this tent boasts double seams, I can’t personally vouch for it. However, most of the reviews I have read have said it has held up and stayed dry in the rain.</p>
<p> Another weatherproof feature are the two guy points that allow you to tie the tent down to so when the wind picks up and starts blowing hard, your tent isn’t going to go with it.</p>
<p>Due to how light this tent is it makes a great tent that backpackers can take with them.  Most of the complaints that come with this tent is that people have felt the tent poles are a little cheaper made than they would like but they have held up.   Also, if you are REALLY tall, this might not be the best choice for you.  The center is only 43.5 inches so this isn’t a tent anyone could really expect to stand up in.</p>
<p>Not sure what all of these terms mean?  We have nice <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/cheap-tents-some-basic-terms-you-should-know/" target="_self">tent terms</a> guide you can get more information about.  Also, there are a lot of things you need to look for when you consider a camping tent so check out these <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/questions-to-ask-when-looking-for-cheap-tents/" target="_self">questions</a> before actually purchasing one.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p> Canvas tents are heavy and expensive (not the best if you are looking for <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com" target="_self">cheap tents</a>) yet, there are still quite a few advantages and reasons to why you might want to own them.  Canvas is made of cotton and makes it a very strong and durable material and if it rips or tears you can sew it much easier than you can another type of tent. A sturdy canvas tent is also usually one of the number one choices for a base camp tent.</p>
<h2>So where can you buy a canvas tent?</h2>
<p>Canvas tents can be found almost anywhere but remember they will be a little pricier.  A good place to start looking is an outdoor store like Cabela’s or REI.  These stores will have a few more options than the more general stores.  Also, they know what you are going to use your tent for so Cabelas tents or any other store selling outdoor gear, are geared for what you need them for, they know you aren&#8217;t just as casual camper.  Maybe you want a good hunting tent that is going to be more than a place to sleep or to set it up as a base camp.  <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/cheap-tents-the-materials-tents-are-made-of/" target="_self">Canvas tents</a> can do this and you will often find them able to accommodate a camp stove so your tent now becomes not just a place to sleep but a place to live.  If you go hunting for long lengths of time you know how important it is to have a tent that can provide you with a base camp.  </p>

<p><strong> </strong><br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Cabela’s Outfitter’s  Canvas Wall Tent with Sewn- In Floor</strong></span>-  This tent comes in about 5 different sizes depending on how big of one you want.  The price will range from 999 to 1499 so be prepared to pay a lot for these tents.  The floor is sewn in so if you are camping in an area with snakes or other creatures it is a great way to keep them out and not worry about them getting inside.  They are made to be fire retardant and water and mildew resistant making this a good canvas tent choice.  This also has a place built in to place that camping stove which helps keep it warm in the cold winter months!</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cabela’s Outfitters’ Canvas Tent</span></strong>- This is the same tent as above and works just as well, the only difference is that the floor isn’t sewn in so you might get a couple of critters trying to keep warm in the tent with you.  The main advantage is that this will be a couple hundred dollars less than the one that has the floor sewn in.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Kodiak Canvas </span></strong><a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/category/tents-by-size/cabin-tents-tents-by-size/" target="_self"><strong>Cabin Tent</strong></a><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> With Awning</span></strong>-<br />
The Kodiak Canvas tent costs around $550.    It’s a <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/five-6-man-tent-options/" target="_self">6 man tent</a> and comes with an awning and an enclosed screened off room to keep the bugs out.  It comes with 5 windows which will help to improve the overall airflow of the tent if it starts to get a little warm inside.  For those who don’t realize how much weight a canvas tent can weigh this tent is 118 pounds!  So be prepared to have a way to get this tent to and from your campsite and set up.  It is made to be watertight and puncture resistant.  Bottomline:  This is a great more affordable canvas tent.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Kodiak Flex Bow Tent</span></strong>-<br />
This tent is another inexpensive option for large canvas tents and comes in 2 different sizes.  Both sizes are large and one is a 6 man tent and the other is an <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/selecting-an-8-person-tent/" target="_self">8 man tent</a>.  This is quite a bit lighter with both options under 80 pounds.  The <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/category/tents-by-size/6-man-tents/" target="_self">6 man tent</a> weighs 69 pounds.  It comes with an attached awning, 4 windows and 2 doors.  This is definitely an option that will help cool down your warm cotton tent.  It will easily fit some <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/ozark-trails-camping-cot/" target="_self">tent cots</a> and still have plenty of space left over.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When it comes to <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/finding-cheap-tents-by-size/" target="_self">tent size</a> you should almost always consider a tent that can sleep more people than you actually need since space is usually exaggerated by the different tent brands.  Thus, if you are looking for a 6 man tent you should probably go with an 8 man tent just to play it safe, especially if you are bringing an air mattress or a lot of camping gear. </p>
<p><a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/category/tents-by-size/6-man-tents/" target="_self">6 man tents</a> can be perfect as a 4 man tent and will provide you some extra room to feel more comfortable in. </p>
<h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Coleman Sundome 6 Tent</span>-</h2>
<p>This 2 room affordable tent by Coleman has a center height of six feet and comes with a  12&#215;10 rainfly. This tent is normally a screened tent so unless you have the rain fly on you aren’t going to get any protection. This is a great tent for beginners as it is easy to set up with its color coded tent poles.  Unlike most tents this one comes with an integrated light system!!  I think that has to be its main selling point.  It is a light that is good enough to be able to read while you’re in your tent at night and is controlled with a remote control that can be used up to fifty feet away.  A battery pack allows for up to 16 hours of light usage on low or 12-14 when powered high.  It also comes with negative angle windows that allow you to keep the windows partially down even if it is raining.</p>
<h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Coleman Montana 6 Tent</span>-</h2>
<p>This tent is an <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com" target="_self">inexpensive family tent</a> that won’t provide very much standing room.  It is also a little sparse on interior space so if you have 6 people all of you might not be able to fit into it comfortably and your gear certainly won’t.  It is very easy to set up and comes with a tent rain fly.  However, you might want to be extra careful as some users have found it to be inadequate in keeping the rain out.  Overall, it’s a tent that will work well if you know you will be camping somewhere it’s dry and conditions are mild.  It is definitely a <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/cheap-tents-3-season-tents-vs-4-season-tents/" target="_self">3 season tent</a>.</p>
<h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Coleman Evanston 6 Tent</span>-</h2>
<p>This is another Coleman tent that is great for beginning campers.  However, it probably won’t let you sleep up to 6 people.  It’s probably better used as a 4 man tent.  It is extremely set up with just 2 fiberglass tent poles.  Unfortunately this doesn’t come with the tent light that the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/coleman-sundome-2-man-tent/" target="_self">Coleman Sundome</a> one has.  The fabric is a little thin though so you will need to be careful when pushing the tent poles through so that you don’t tear it at all. </p>
<h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Kelty Yellowstone 6 Person Tent</span>-</h2>
<p>Every company that makes tents seems to have their own patented design to keep out water seepage.  Kelty is similar and this tent is made with the ArcEdge design to help any water from getting into your tent.  This system raises the tent floor up a little bit off the ground which helps the water not get inside through the floor and the seams where the walls meet.<br />
This tent also comes with a lot of other features like interior pockets for storage, color coded tent poles, external guy points to help when you are camping in windy conditions and noiseless zipper pulls.  The noiseless zipper I think is a great benefit for a light sleeper.  As with most of the tents this 3 season tents space might be exaggerated when it comes to the amount of sleepers it fits, so you might want to just use it as a <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/4-man-tent-sierra-designs-lightning-xt/" target="_self">4 man</a> or 5 man tent.  This tents weight is about 17 pounds.</p>
<h2><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cabela’s Westwind Deluxe Tent</span>-</h2>
<p>This tent is free standing design that utilizes 5 shock-corded fiberglass tent poles as its frame.  It is made of nylon taffeta and its seams are hot taped to prevent leakage from any rain you might face.  It has more vestibules to protect your gear better and multiple guy out points for stability in the wind.  Like the Kelty Yellowstone the size that sleeps 6 people weighs about 17 pounds.  But you can also purchase it in two other sizes to sleep 4 or 8 people, so if you need space for 6 people consider getting the <a href="http://cheaptentssite.com/selecting-an-8-person-tent/" target="_self">8 man tent</a>.</p>
